Stuff for cyberpunksters and wastelander muties

Inspirational material for cyberpunksters and wastelander muties

I'm a cyberpunk nomad.
Friends of mine call me:
the Nomad Orangutang Queen

In this web article I shall give You all some tips and hints of  some usefuls and inspirational material for roleplaying and miniature gamers alike, who like to dwell well in the grittaaaaah and wittaaah streets of street psychos, punkrockers, cyber-enhanced solos and wastelander muties.

First, of course, I shall share You some fitting background music for the article. Especially the video's finalé is right on the spot for our theme. Very rocking, full of drama, full of cool glazes that ooze Coolness, and of course some fighting and killing. So, very fitting for the cyberpunk theme. Song is a bit on the mellow side,  but I just can't scare You right away, when I'm just starting to show the cool stuff... 💥😎💥

Beneath the Glass and Steel (= BG&S) is a fanzine for cyberpunks, lowlifes, and other denizens of the Sprawl. BG&S will generally function as an “in-game” artefact that can be used by characters to find potential storylines, to gain information about people, or gather intelligence about places. And it's totally system neutral, which makes it really handy tool.

You can download the Beneath the Glass and Steel material Guide FREE. It contains inspiring cyberpunk themed pictures and sample articles that can be used in the spirit of the BG&S: for something to game moderator to give to players to view as their characters. And there is couple of other numbers published, and the price is pretty moderate.

From the same publisher as the BG&S, comes a really interesting  tabletop roleplaying game, called FUBAR.  The FUBAR is a low preparation, Dadaist Cyberpunk -Roleplaying Game. And if it sounds bit weird and edgy, it's because it is weird, edgy and very original game, that really makes the players think.  And I really like it.

FUBAR is surreal cyberpunk game that is fast, innovative and exciting experience

FUBAR is actually published as two versions:  FUBAR Release Prime ( with the quick-start single page version of the rules, Naked FUBAR) and The FUBAR Director's Cut. (an expanded and revised edition of the rules.) Both are available as free downloads. Fubar is something that I highly recommend people to check out and try it as a game, as a concept, as gaming mechanics and for the sake of inspiration. Because it is very inspirational game.

It does not matter, do you wanna make a cool plasma sub-station for tabletop roleplaying purposes or to use on the table with war miniature games, it is a awesome to have your own plasma sub-station to ooze cyberpunk vibes to all. Buying expensive models is not the only way. You can build them yourself. And it is always useful to have do-it-yourself guide leaflets and tutorials. Because sharing is caring, I'll share  the link to Plasma sub-station do-it-yourself -guide.

Well, check out the White Dwarf december 2019 number with  A 10-page gaming supplement all about Gang Raids, including four new scenarios for Necromunda. The supplement can be easily used as a skismish scale standalone game, too. And on the same package with the magazine, You get eg. a free tactical card for the Necromunda, and a simple stand-alone wizardry game. At least, I have used the wizard game's poster board as a game board gor Necromunda skismish battles with the 10-page Gang Raids  supplement.  Plus on the  Necromunda page there is info about the game and if You scroll waaaaaaay down the page, You can  check out the free stuff in the useful downloads section...

And what would cyberpunk would be with out flying cars, and space freighter cargo bays? Whole lotta things, of course, but with these, it is even COOLer and more gritty to the core. And because sharing is caring, I share Cargo bay map link with You all amazing people, who are following my blog posts.

Lost Colony and and Deadland Lost Colony  were originally even further in the future -kind of setting to Deadlands and Deadland Hell on Earth. Deadland is cyberpunkish game and setting in the wild west era but with weird steampunk machines and dark monsters gone loose. Deadlands: Hell on Earth is a some kind of cyberpunk version of the Deadlands but set in the future. And there's Revisided version of both Deadlands and Deadlands: Hell On Earth  runs by Savage Worlds game system (especially with the Adventure edition) and now there's  a new revised version of the Deadlands Lost Colony the Adventure Edition.

For the Original Hell On Earth is cuite cool adventures and other supplements that are very good for  gooood old old-school cyberpunking Experience. Especially if You like it to have it on the wastelands and with a Wild West & Weird West style. Hell On Earth; Brainburners is very cyberpunk starting from the name and ending to twisty adventure plots. Deadland: Cyborgs introduces its cyborgs in to the Deadlands: Hell On Earth, which is already very Mad Maxian, gritty, witty, and totally cyberpunk to the bone. Hell On Earth: Waste Warriors is obviously a supplement of the warriors and the soldiers on the wastelands. Very grim, gritty, cyber, punk, cyberpunk and bloody. So, it's basically everything that You want a Weird West -cyberpunk setting that is set on wastelands.

Hell on Earth: Waste Warriors is deadly, so it really wastes waste warriors on the wasteland!

If You are interested on the Savage Worlds -engine and system (especially the modern version of it) and You have already fell in L.U.V. LUUUUV with the Hell On Earth setting (especially but You are looking for a moderately fast, easy and cheap way to taste it out... Don't You look no more, because I tell You that there is an Excellent Hell On Earth Reloaded  adventure as a  FREE DOWNLOAD.

Cyberpunk can be kinda fun, too... This  adventure is a killer, it's a Bomb... (download link above)

It is called simply "HOW I LEARNED TO STOP WORRYING" and its sub-title is also very short in deed: "A post-apocalyptic Savage Tale in three parts for use with Deadlands: Reloaded or as a stand alone adventure." It is fun, witty, gritty, bit pulpish, fast and furious. So it's good fun for sure.  MORE these cool supplements are found in WWW.PEGINC.COM

PURE Mayhem and real nomad Wastelander attitude on this cyberpunks style... and look at that stare! That wanker ain't gonna chicken nor back down...

OKEY?! Are You getting a bit bored? OK... So You are not interested to play cowboy games anymore in the weird west on the radioactive wastelands, but  You are not ready to leave the wastelands?! OK! Let's see, what we got here..... Uhm. I think that this might interest You: a lot!

If You like your post-apocalyptic world combining your favourite wasteland and dark science-fiction movies with a gritty cyberpunk style, You want it as a simple standalone game and You want it free, DEATH RACE: Fury Road answers to your all questions and prayers on the matter.

Talking about the Apocalypse. The Veil: Cascade roleplaying-game that is Powered by the Apocalypse. It is own game and setting but it uses the Apocalypse -system as game mechanics.  The Veil: Cascade reminds me, at least a bit, the forthcoming games: Cyberpunk Red and Cyperpunk 2077. And that is not a bad thing at all. The art is beatiful and stylized and it's modern cyberpunk. And as a game it is interesting and very playable. The Veil: Cascade Quickstart is free to download.

My Work in progress spacemarine for the Mutant Chronicles.. as a base is Necromunda base... oO the background You can see orc boss with other wip projects... and as You can see, Army Painter's cutboard looks very cyberpunkish with these folks...

Ok!
