I will be a sample charater in the Sanctions rpg




When the printed version of the Sanctions roleplaying game will be published, I will be on its pages. I will be a sample character in the body horror science-fiction roleplaying game, which is produced by  Purple Crayons Games.

Starting 8:09 I shall talk about the game and show some pics... (and sorry for the brainfart, the Purple Caryons Games is located in UK, not in USA)


I am really happy and excited that I will be on the pages of the printed version of the horror game that I already like. This is actually one of my childhood dreams coming true. So, this really means a lot to me. Thanx a lot for the game designer Liam Thompson for putting me in his game.

My partner took the picture that I am in, and Liam Thompson has made the statitics and all the effects on the pictures. Really original, totally Awwsum looking stuff.


That's another example character (above), so I am just one of the many example characters. So to the game designers and to the world, I am just a small part of the bigger picture. But to me, this means a Lot. Even my father got very excited, knowing I shall be a gaming character in a real roleplaying game which shall be published internationally. And I just wanted to give shout out to the game, and keep You, my blog readers, updated on current news on the forthcoming printed version of the Sanctions horror sci-fi roleplaying game. Cyberpunk movies to inspire your genre gaming (plus some gaming stuff, too!)

Cyberpunk is a cool genre of books, movies, tv-series, comics, cartoons, clothing style(s) and various types of games. As a roleplaying game moderator, who likes to make own adventures for roleplaying sessions, I find it useful to watch inspirational genre movies.... And because sharing is caring, I'll tell You  about feeeeeew movies and videos that are worth to watch... Hardware (1990) is now days considered as a some sort of cyberpunk cult b-movie classic, and it's no wonder why that is the case. It has leather, darkness, violent fights, sorrow, pain, madness, robotics, cybernetics, far-out Net -audiovisuals, certain sexyness, coolness and whole lotta F-U -Attitude. And just look at that movie poster, I mean, just look at it! Not the world's best indie-flick, but worth to watch. Max Headroom: 20 minutes into the future (1985) is a television produced Cyberpunk movie. Even with its oddicities and glumsyness, the movie achieves to tell a interesting stor...

More about the Cyberpunk 2020 roleplaying game and its different editions and settings

I totally liked the original Cyberpunk -The Roleplaying game of the dark future ,   originally  published in 1988 and  set in the year 2013. I really fell in love with the 2nd edition of the Cyberpunk game which was titled Cyberpunk 2.0.2.0 . and it was first released as a box set, in 1990. The revisited 2nd edition was released in 1991, and it is is even more excellent game, and it was also released as a totally awesome finnish edition.   I have to admit that I really enjoy the most of  all of these different  Cyberpunk 2020 editions, the Cyberpunk 2020 version 2.01 , which first saw light in 1993. And the 2013 & 2014 and printings after that are just practically the 1993 gaming book with a bit different cover. Because I haven't ever owned a single own copy of the gaming book, so recently, I went and got my copy from Fantasiapelit in Tampere. Talvi ja alkukevät oli kyllä melkoista "polvi otti sitten taas osumaa kaatuessa taikka yhteentörmäyksessä"-kimaraa. Kun yhdestä kivusta ja vaivasta pääsi yli, tuli jo seuraava ja meikäläinen alkoi jälleen kulkee kankeasti, ankeasti, linkaten ja konkaten. No, sisulla, levolla ja kuntouttavalla jumpalla ja esim. polvilämppärien käyttämisellä ja vajaalla liikeradalla tehdyillä kyykyillä, siitä selvittiin ja nyt kävely on enimmäkseen suht. koht. normaalia ja kyykätäkin voi. Alkaa elämä taas hymyillä, kun fibromyalgia-vaivatkin ovat pysyneet erinäisillä konsteilla enimmäkseen siedettävinä. Ja kun aurinkokin paistaa, niin mikäs tässä aappenan köllötellessä elämäänsä tyytyväisenä. Sanctions the horror sci-fi ttrpg

Sanctions is making its way to your gaming tables Few physical copies of the Sanctions horror cyberpunk ttrpg by Liam Thompson Sanctions is interesting horror science fiction tabletop roleplaying-game, that will be published as glossy book very soon. It's already available as a PDF file. It's main creator Liam Thompson was so kind that he sent me some work file material and printable DI card file to print and use when playing live or tabletop rpg, or just using it as a cool prop in roleplaying conventions.  This article is a simple (p)review of the material of Sanctions and it's based on the early draft file that Liam sent me, and on the public information the publisher has on their site. Lunkisti lautapelaillen: Inkan Aarre

Oikein mainiota kesää kaikille! Juhannuksena kokoonnuimme pienellä porukalla viettämään mukavaa juhannusta selvinpäin. Kävellen, rupatellen, syöden, limuja ja vissyä juoden, naureskellen, musiikkia kuunnellen ja lautapelejä pelaten. Lainasin etukäteen Sampolasta kirjaston puolelta muutaman lautapelin Juhannustelua vasrten. Yksi näistä oli Afrikan Tähden suunnittelijan uudempi jatko-osa-peli, Inkan Aarre. Näillä polttavan kuumilla ennätyshellekeleillä ei vaadi kauheasti mielikuvitusta, kuvitella matkaavansa kuumassa Etelä-Amerikassa. Tai Afrikan mantereella. Afrikan Tähti oli meille kaikille tuttu, kuten varmaan lähes kaikille suomalaisille lautapelaajille. Inkan Aarretta meistä ei ollut kukaan aiemmin pelannut. Päätimme siis kokeilla, millaista on pelata Inkan Aarretta. Inkan Aarre on Afrikan Tähden suunnittelijan tekemä uudempi peli. Visuals and visions for the Dark & Grim Future

(Audio-)Visuals, visions, ideas and inspirational material for dark science-fiction gaming Yours Truly, Krisse Tuominen, the modern Nomad in the Cyberpunk 2020 World, where we're living Especially the game masters and game moderator, strorytellers, chronicle writers and so on, who like to homebrew, modify, convert, and make material from the scratch, enjoy the search for inspirational material. And at least I like when I here about something cool and usable to my personal tastes, interests and to use with my dipplings and dapplings in adventure making and game modifying... And that's why I like to interact internationally with veteran gamers, new gamers, game designers, and so on, because it is so satisfying to find something that is new to me, to freshen up my material that is sometimes maybe too much in roots of roleplaying games, and not so much into new ways of playing and gaming. Homosatus Illuminatus Maximus -Maximal Homosation is a very satiric parody game of the really weird prejudices about homosexual people.  We all know that gay people are not running a huge secret conspiracy that plans to make all the people turn into flaming homosexuals. Despite the obvious facts, some people still act like it's an honest threat to heterosexual society.  This recent TSR dumpster fire fiasco extravaganza showed the gaming community that there really are people who are aggressively against the human rights of glbtiQah+ people. Even to the tragicomic point where that dimwitted ranting is so hilariously stupid that it's almost funny. Sadly those views are not just outside our gaming community. They are also inside the community. As a game designer and spreader of tabletop RPG enthusiasm, I wanted to sort of stand to the platform and try to make at least one parodic roleplaying game in the gaming world, where gay people have Divine Gay Powers turning the World int...

Pelipäiviä Pispalan kirjastolla Meikäabenan (=Krisse Tuominen) ja rakkaani, ystävieni ja SuperNörttien järjestämänä on koko vuoden 2025 kerran kuukaudessa pelipäivä. Kuukausittainen tapahtumien sarja on toteutettu yhteistyössä Pispalan kirjastoyhdistys ry:n ja Pispalan kirjaston kanssa. Kiitoksia myös kaikille pelitapahtumassa kunniavieraina olleille (Ville "Praedor RPG:n luoja" Vuorela, ja Biblioclash -pelin tekijätiimi) ja tuleville kunniavieraille. Roolipelaamista suomeksi

Suomi on siitä loistava kieli, että se on ilmaisuvoimainen, monipuolinen ja -ilmeinen, elävä ja eloisa kieli. Ja koska Suomen originaali- ja käännös-roolipelijulkaisuja ovat olleet vuosikymmenien mittaan olleet tekemässä ja kääntämässä monen kirjava sakki, on suomalaiseen roolipeliharrastukseen päässyt syntymään hyvinkin laaja tapa ilmaista pelien ja pelaamisen termistöjä. Toki englanninkielessäkin on löydettävissä laajaa kirjoa, mutta toisaalta monet asiat ovat etenkin suurilla julkaisijoilla vakiintuneet sekä muodoltaan, tyyliltään että sanastoltaan. Suomessa on harrastuksen tänne rantauduttua, ollut alusta asti hyvinkin hajallaan ympäri Suomea ollutta sakkia markkinoimassa, luomassa pelejä ja tapahtumia, pykäämässä käännöksiä, pelaamassa, pelauttamassa, myymässä ja luomassa pelejä. Lauantaina 13.12. Pispalan kirjastolla

Pispalan kirjastolla kokoonnuttiin SuperNörttiLauantai: Pelipäivät -tapahtumien sarjan päättävässä Luolapelipäivä-teemaisessa tapahtumassa. Lisäksi juhlimme Reetun synttäreitä muta- ja suklaakakuilla, limulla ja mehuilla, ja kekseillä. Kivaa oli! Pelejä pelattiin, kirjoja luettiin, lehtiä myös, ja juteltiin. Porukkaa kävi myös tutustumassa kirjastoon. Kirjamyyntiä oli mukavasti, Pispalan kirjasto ry:n jäsenyyttäkin män kaupaksi. Kävijöitä oli yhteensä 15 hlöä.
