Role-playing and board game products I want to show to You Recently I bought myself, on a Women's Day sale, few roleplaying books and two board games that  have some roleplaying elements on them. Got the games on last week. Have opened the board game boxes and been reading those books. And I'm happy about the products that I bought. I already had the  The No-Prep Gamemaster   book as a digi-file and therefore already read the book and knew what I was getting, when purchasing the physical book. I totally enjoyed reading the printed book, too. It is always nicer to have the book on hand and to be able to make markings on the book. Handwritten markings. With underlining and writing my sidenotes on the book, I learn pretty fast, compared to just reading the book and not writing on it and not taking any notes. By writing sidenotes and underlining the text, I get things really stick to my brain, with almost no effort.  I can recommend the No-Prep Gam...

The Question: "Are there any good medieval fantasy games besides Dungeons & Dragons? I like the magic and stuff, but I just don't want the D&D" The Answer: Well, it depends on a bit how crunchy You want it or is it easy to learn or is it ok if it takes its time to learn it... but here are few different kind of suggestions that You might enjoy: * Harn and Harnmaster. It is very authentic and realistic medieval roleplaying gaming. Low Fantasy, high realism. Crunchy, realistic, darkish with a bit dark humour, simulationish... Well-done game product line. I love it. * Rune Quest , Hero Wars, Hero Quest are totally great old school roleplaying games. The gaming world, of those games, is called Glorantha and it is literally very fantastic! For the Rune Quest, there is lots and loads of different kind of supplements, eg. how to make your own fantasy cities -guide books, and setting books (+ adventures) of Lankhmar for the Rune Quest rules. ...

Attack of the MetaPirates BETA   is available as a pay what You want digi -file in DriveThruRpg .   I downloaded Vector! Attack of the MetaPirates BETA file from DriveThruRpg and after quickish skim thru, I like it already. Vector! etc. is nteresting, intuitive, inspiring, witty and surely it is funny. And like the creator of the Vector etc, Shane Wheeler says it: " Stay home, play games, and be safe. " So get this, read it, play it, stay home, be safe and have fun! Dead Age butcher working on Carcass I like to check out new and interesting roleplaying games and gaming supplements. Especially if it's free or so cheap it's next to nothing. Obviously when it was Game Master's Day Sale on DriveThruRpg, I got a lot free and pay what You want products. I also bought three digifiles on 3,60 euro price. Dead Age is fantasy horror roleplaying game. Dead Age is a race for survival, both living and (un)dead. Good cinematic zombie roleplaying game packed only in 46 pages. Apparently it's not currently available in DriveThruRpg. I'm very lucky to have it. Simple, but yet so interesting game. Payed 30 cents for it, and I really don't regret for it. At all. My friends like it, too. The Carcass is a 44-paged game of post apocalyptic community. The Carcass is also a gamemasterless roleplaying game. Or story telling game, or story game. What ever You want to call it. And as a GMless story game, it is a scene-framing game. It ...
